Jеданаести пут за редом и овог октобра, у оквиру Српског филмског фестивала у градовима Аустралије приказују се најновија филмска остварења српске филмске индустрије.
Фестивал је кренуо из Сиднеја свечаним отварањем 17. октобра у препуној сали биоскопа Cinema Paris – у сиднејском филмском граду (Fox Studios).

Svečanim otvaranjem u prostorijama Sinema Paris danas u Sidneju počinje 11. po redu Srpski filmski festival. Kako smo ranije najavili, ove godine pred publikom u Australiji naći će se osam najnovijih filmskih ostvarenja srpske kinematografije, od kojih je većina prikazana tek ove godine. Festival će prvi put biti organizovan i u Brizbejnu, a pored Sidneja, Melburna, Perta, Vulongonga, Kanbere i Adelejda.
Now in its eleventh year in Australia, the 2011 Serbian Film Festival brings together a selection of eight of the latest feature films from the unique cinema of Serbia to audiences across Australia. The film White White World (Beli beli svet) is a story of crime and passion set against the backdrop of Bor, a once-glorious industrial town , the centre of gold and other precious metal mining in Serbia - now in depression and decay.
Film Ljubiše Samardžića "Miris kiše na Balkanu", uz glavnu glumicu Aleksandru Bibić, otvoriće ovogodišnji, 11. po redu, Festival srpskog filma koji počinje 17. oktobra. Tradicionalno, svečano otvaranje zakazano je u Sidneju, u "Sinema Paris" (Foks-studija), a zatim slede projekcije, sve do 7. novembra, u Melburnu, Kanberi, Vulongongu, Adelejdu, Pertu i, prvi put ove godine, Brizbejnu.
With last year's Tenth anniversary the Serbian Film Festival introduced the Peoples choice Award for the most watched film at the festival, which took place in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide Canberra and Wollongong,
Amidst intense competition from 6 films the people's Choice Award went to the film Woman with the Broken Nose, directed by Mr.Srdjan Koljevic and produced by Bas Celik.
