The film is about a couple in their thirties whose marriage is in crisis. Uros is a distinguished award winning writer, and a former professor, who with his wife and son live in Belgrade. For a number of years Uros has been in a creative crisis not able to write a book. His wife is an architect and supporting the whole family during this period. She is unhappy with this arrangement and seeks solace in an extramarital relationship.

When Uros finds out his wife has a lover, he wants to leave the home quietly but then decides to take drastic action in order to keep the family together.
